An Amazing Amazon Delivery Service Partner

DKL is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner that is minoritym woman and veteran owned. We deliver packages and smiles to Atlanta’s finest residents every day. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company while also representing Amazon and its values to our customers. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill both full- and part-time delivery driving positions in Atlanta(Sulivan Rd). As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for following company procedures while loading and delivering smiles (customer packages). Delivery drivers are eligible to work three or four 10-hour shifts per week, which includes weekend and holiday shifts.

Dispatcher Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Plan and oversee customer deliveries
Monitor deliveries and drivers via computer software
Provide field units, with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
Monitor, notify and confirm drivers’ clock out/in for lunch break according to company policy
Ensure shipments are dispatched and coordinated in a timely and efficient manner
Clear and Consistent communication with on-site managers, admins, and drivers daily
Troubleshoot logistics related issues
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions as problems arise
Enter and maintain accurate inventory count received by the warehouse operations
Keep status logs and records of dispatched shipments for record keeping
Receive and dispatch and drivers for deliveries
Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
Maintain applicable logs for the fleet
Receive emergency/non-emergency calls and record significant information
Manage company calendar
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
Work and communicate closely with Operations team to ensure company success
Enter data into the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles periodically as needed
Perform light vehicle maintenance as needed
May be required to assume the job of a driver if needed
